Our
meetings are held the first and third Tuesdays of each month from noon
till 1 PM at the University Club on UofL's Belknap Campus. No RSVP is
necessary. Please join us! Occasionally we
skip a meeting for a Day at the Downs, Golf
Outing or other special event. It's best to email
for information.
Each week
at the Optimist Club Luncheon, a featured speaker presents a program. Each
speaker receives an Optimist plaque with the Optimist Creed as a
"thank you."
Above
and below are shown some of our members. Membership is
$100 annually, payable quarterly. The luncheon fee is
$10.50 for a full buffet meal, or $7.50 for
the soup and salad bar.
Attending luncheons is a great way to become
more familiar with community events,
programs and personalities, not to mention
getting to know fellow members.
